Our small family-run hotel is located about 3.1 mi south of the old town of Salzburg, in a quiet and scenic location. Positive: As soon as you enter this family hotel, it is clear to you that every detail, every guest, is taken care of. Everything is clean, beautiful, comfortable, fragrant, and cozy. It is obvious that the hosts take this job seriously, which is more than just a job for them. Guests here feel like they have come to visit relatives. Every morning, in addition to the various foods already on the buffet, we could choose whether we wanted an omelet or something else to be prepared - just for us. Our room was spacious, bright, with a beautiful terrace, from which there was a view of the beautiful surroundings. The dining room and common rooms are decorated in a traditional style combined with modern details. One of these details is the elevator, which is valuable when you are carrying a lot of luggage. The parking lot where guests can leave their cars while exploring the surroundings or, for example, taking the bus to Salzburg, is very useful. The weather was not kind to us, so we were unable to use the pool (it was rainy and chilly), but I'm sure those who did have nothing but praise for it. I hope I will have the opportunity to be a guest of the wonderful Bloberger Hof again. Until then, I wish you much success in your future work, and thank you for giving me a wonderful stay in Salzburg.

Positive: Really liked the traditional style. The location was great, out of town with great views of the mountains yet just a 15 bus ride in to town. The breakfast and drinks options in the morning were excellent with option of freshly cooked eggs, continental, cereal and fruit options. Rooms were warm and clean. We would thoroughly recommend when visiting Salzburg and was excellent value.

Positive: I loved the idea of a property out in the hills and this auberge did not disappoint. Gorgeous place all done up for Christmas, and could walk locally which was beautiful. Also so easy with a local bus 2 mins away, straight and easy into town.

Negative: Very slightly tedious with uber to/from station as we were at the end of a 6 month trip so had a lot of luggage. If you had only carry on the bus would be much cheaper, easier and faster.

Summary: Peaceful inn outside of town, delicious food in restaurant, amazing friendly accommodating staff
