Negative: Lack of sunlight whatever time of day. Trees cutting out sunlight all around. Limited access to the loch. Parking arrangements very difficult with neighbours. Decking lethal in damp weather. The photos on the website give a very different impression to the facilities of the property. The route to the property and surrounding area is stunning. No question. Couldn’t use any of the seating. Two sofas and two chairs resembled footons. The dining chairs had hard edges that cut into your thighs. We used our camping chairs for comfort for 4 days. This furniture NEEDS to be changed!

Summary: Disappointed. Expensive what it advertised - Lodge2!

Positive: I stayed in both lodges, and they were both lovely, serene spaces. Lodge 1 is preferable due to its open views and sense of total privacy. The accommodation is comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. Drumbeg has a wee shop, a hotel, a brilliant coffee garden (check hours), beautiful walks and on the doorstep wild swimming for those that are brave enough for highland temperatures.

Negative: Dining chairs could do with replacing as they are stylish but uncomfortable. I moved a garden chair inside to account for this, which worked better.

Summary: excellent, tranquil stay surrounded by breathtaking beauty

Positive: Location very good, facilities excellent. Every thing was very clean and extremely well equipped.

Negative: Main problem was the sofa chairs were too low, uncomfortable and difficult to get up from. A minor problem was I couldn not get the TV to work, probably my fault lacking IT skills.

Positive: Setting in the trees, but just a small glimpse of the loch with no direct access.

Negative: Tv in the bedroom. Dining/lounge not conducive to relaxing. No easy access to loch. Parking was an issue.

Summary: If all you want in an overnight- it’s perfect. Too close to other unit which as best views.

Positive: It was a lovely cottage/chalet, had everything I needed. Stayed 3 nights was very quiet and peaceful.

Negative: Parking could be better I know they had workings going on but still was a little hassle. It would be nice either to have a dryer or a clothes horse to hang clothes inside as it rained the whole time I was there. There is a line outside but no pegs.

Summary: I really enjoyed my stay I was looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful as I just wanted to have a chill out after trave

Positive: From the very start, the host Anne provided lots of advice on directions for the property and everything you could possibly think of, from places to eat to boat trips. She certainly made us feel very welcome (thank you)! The lodge is situated in stunning hills and mountains. Each trip to and from the property reveals a new stunning vista. At the end of a long day walking/sight seeing, the lodge was a wonderful, warm and cozy place to return to!

Positive: Peaceful location, well equipped with good quality linen and towels. Ease walk to village and great access to local walks etc.

Negative: Parking and the apparent challenges with the neighbours, including their signage meant we had to unload then move the car making it less relaxing. Otherwise, only other question was around the selection of furniture, which while being of good quality, wasn't the most comfortable for relaxation after a day of walking.

Summary: Perfect, peaceful location, well equipped - could be a little more comfortably furnished.
