A light and sunny 1950's Beach Shack, freshly renovated with great views and in a secluded location bewtween surf and bay beaches amongst the peninsula's native tee-trees.
The house is entered via the front deck, which is perfect for an early breakfast in the morning sun or lazy afternoons in the hammock. The house consists of an open plan kitchen connected to the lounge, which features comfortable sofas and an open fire place. Adjacent to the lounge is the sunroom, which has a charming timber dining table, a day bed to soak up the afternoon sun and a bifold door leading out to the back deck. The house is provided with evaporative cooling, which will ensure a comfortable stay, even on hot days.
The house has two bedrooms - one with a king size bed and built in robes, the other with a queen size bed and a set of bunks, in total sleeping up to six persons, ideally, four adults and two children. The clean white bathroom has a large shower and a bath, with a separate toilet.
The property also features a large and untamed garden, a barbeque on the back deck, outdoor shower, a spot of grass to play a game of croquet, a carport for one car and parking for another two cars.
The perfect shack for a great getaway - with fresh interiors, which includes a lot of character and a tranquil, beachy feel - we are sure you will enjoy your stay here, either as a romantic getaway for two, with the whole family or a group of good friends ready for a relaxing weekend. We are now pleased to offer fresh linen and towels for your stay! The shack has a queen bed with queen doona, one set of bunks, each with single doonas and one king size bed with king size doona. Both beds have four standard sized pillows each, with each bunk having two pillows each.

Summary: Stayed here over winter and everything was perfect! The place was clean, cozy and warm. Sitting by the fireplace was lovely and the location was a 20 minute walk to the beach and Blairgowrie shops. Would stay here again!

Summary: The cottage is beautifully styled, well laid out and set up. The sun room perfectly located to catch the sun, cozy living and comfortable living room with fire place and plenty of logs supplied. Perched on top of a hill there are lovely district views. Outdoor or indoor dining table and great connection between the kitchen and living areas indoor and outdoor.

Summary: Loved the location and property overall - firepit was amazing and the reading nook overlooking the surroundings made the place so homey! Great communication prior to the stay and the check-in was smooth sailing. The only downside was the overall cleanliness of the place. When you walk in, the smell of the place is quite musty but once you turn on the evaporative cooling system the smell dissipates. Some facilities are rusty or mouldy, like the hairdryer, light fixtures and the blankets were stained. I would recommend the place as it is lovely for a short stay, but I would just keep those other factors in mind. :] Thank you for your accommodation!

Summary: We loved our stay at the Beach Shack. Tastefully done inside, the house is inviting and with an open fireplace we were warm and cosy on a cold winter weekend. The day bed in the sunroom which traps the afternoon sun was a delightful place to read. And a big thank you to Luke and Marie for accomodating our requests.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay the Blairgowrie Beach Shack. The house was full of character and charm, "Beach Shack" was a good description. We had warm weather, so sitting out on the deck having a BBQ dinner enjoying the peaceful surrounds was memorable. The location is great, close to everything.The house is not large, perfect for a small family or couple.
