Summary: This is an historic house with a wrap around porch, quiet neighborhood and very close to downtown. Walkable to the lake as well. Good breakfast too

Summary: Loved this Hotel . It felt like home. It was so clean and the curved windows so unique. The only little thing was that there should be non slip strips in the tub for safety . Loved the kitchen with snacks and juice . We would definitely stay here again . It was outstanding!!

Summary: The staff at Blackwell Hotel went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and informed. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the staff was warm and friendly. The Hotel is a beautiful old house with a classic environment. The lobby was warm and comfortable. . . a good place to get some work done or just relax with an afternoon coffee. The hotel is in our favorite area of CDA and we were able to walk to almost any destination we wanted to visit. It is in easy walking distance of parks, restaurants, the lakes, and the library. We definitely hope to stay there again.

Summary: Awesome B&B. We were on the 3rd floor. Only 2 rooms with bedrooms not in room. We had one of those. Bathroom across the room. A little inconvenient. The breakfast was not as good as I thought it would be. Not bad but could have been better. On the whole we liked it.
