Positive: Review: A Perfect Romantic Escape at Blackcap Lodge My partner and I recently enjoyed the most magical romantic night away at Blackcap Lodge, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful surroundings and stunning views — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing retreat. The lodge itself was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, making us feel instantly at home. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the wood-fired hot tub. Soaking under the stars, surrounded by nature, with just the crackling fire and each other for company — it was pure bliss. It added a special touch of romance and made the night feel unforgettable. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply in need of a serene getaway, I can’t recommend Blackcap Lodge enough. Excellent facilities, breathtaking views, and total privacy — it was everything we hoped for and more. We’ll definitely be returning.

Positive: It was just perfect, so peaceful and private, cosy and warm. The lodge had everything we needed and more and was so clean and comfortable. I've always been used to falling asleep to a TV in bed but not having one in the bedroom wasn't a problem after all as I've never slept so well! We loved watching all of the different birds from the living room/hot tub aswell, It really is such a lovely little farm. Will definitely be returning as we were both so gutted to leave here!!

Positive: The Luxury feel of modern details but still in a lovely remote quite surroundings. Absolutely stunning views and the owners couldn't of been more helpful, even down to making sure the hot tub was on for us when we got back from days out.
