Positive: Excellent view and nice wooden cabin. The staff was very supportive and friendly

Negative: The cabin and the outside garden was dirty. There was no reception, no restaurant, it was requested to pay in cash for a bbq we had booked but we were not informed in advance and had to cancel it last minute. We asked for tablets and spiral for mosquitoes but they were not available!

Positive: Good location, beautiful landscape.

Negative: The location is cold itself and on top of that there were constant issues with hot water. Imagine yourself wet and covered in shower gel trying to find the perfect position between magma-hot and arctic-freezing liquid from shower. And this is day one. On day 2 hot water didn’t exist at all. Terrible.

Positive: The rooms itself are beautiful and the view is spectacular. The area is good for excursions on and around the Batur volcano.

Negative: The access road is VERY bad, we were surprised how bad it was even after reading the reviews. We were not comfortable riding a scooter on this road ourselves and every grab/gojek/pickup driver will not touch this road, so you really depend on the hotel shuttle, which is at times a challenge to organize because of the language barrier. Also the flies in this area are EVERYWHERE, which isnt the hotel's fault, but if you are not comfortable to have at least 5 flies on you at any given time, i cannot recommend the Kintamani area.

Positive: The cabin was amazing especially the view! Definitely surpassed our expectations. The decoration, finish & layout of the cabin was incredible & made for a great stay. We loved the cafe for breakfast at Lava camp with the view of mount batur.

Negative: Due to it's location, the cabin was difficult to reach without bikes or the shuttle.

Positive: Best place we have stayed in BALI. Accommodation is picture perfect with views to take your breath away. Facilities well maintained, up to date with lots of modern extras, clean and welcoming. Staff were amazing and went above and beyond. Shuttle pick up was well managed and available when required. Sitting in outdoor bath of a night watching lightning storm roll in over the mountain followed by lying out in hammock balcony at 5 am to view the sunset over Mountains was a life changing experience and one we will never forget.

Negative: Having to leave. Did not plan enough time to spend at this location. Already planning a trip back and will stay here for our entire time in Bali.

Summary: Dream like location with amazing facilities and staff - Life changing experience.
