Summary: The decor of the Black Swan Inn, in our room and throughout was absolutely gorgeous. Everything whose beauty is enhanced by sparkle or shine did just that. Breakfast was delicious, prepared and served up by solicitous staff. The owner greeted us when we arrived and made us feel very welcomed. It was a great stay in a historic Inn. Anyone heading to Tilton and Lakes region should book there.

Summary: The Black Swan is a beautiful, old historical home. The owner greeted us and gladly share the history of the home and offered local restaurants for dinner. The breakfast was lovely- French toast, bacon and a fruit custard. I highly recommend driving to Franklin - check out Vulgar Brewery-great pizza and beer.

Summary: The Expedia website said there was hell yes elevator and everything was on one level. My wife cannot climb stairs well so that is why I chose this facility.When I got there, our room was on 3rd floor a flights of stairs. Had no choice but to take room and assist my wife. Would be nice to get with owner and get facility correct so next customer who has same issue will not be surprised

Summary: Our only regret is that we weren't there for longer! It was such a lovely stay and everyone was so kind. We loved the room, breakfast was great, and the location worked out well for us. The property and building are both so cute. Highly recommend.

Summary: The property was very well maintained and the attention to detail was excellent. They have kept the look of the era of the home very much intact, like stepping back in time. Even though it is off of a main road it was very peaceful in the morning. The staff were very friendly and attentive to your needs.

Summary: Freindly staff easy check in and a beautifull old queen anne home. Right next to the river. Breakfas t was hot and tasty with a fluffy bowl of yogurt and fresh fruit .
