Positive: Near to beach. Room for everyone to have their own space. Pool was great. Ideal for large group

Negative: Kitchen drawers were very annoying as it was difficult to click them shut. They were left open half the time. The aircon in the single beds room didn't appear to be controllable like the other bedrooms so it was hot at night. The room was not designed as a bedroom. The outside fridge wasn't working so drinks and food for 7 had to be stored in one fridge which limited what we could chill.

Positive: The house was very open and attractive and clean with a great outdoor area for eating and gathering. The piano was a real surprise and would have loved a music book to play. The beds were all very comfortable and the reading lights were welcomed. There was a great selection of good books and some games. Pottsville has plenty to offer the traveller and was quite busy the days we were there. We didn't have a chance to use the pool unfortunately.

Negative: I very much disliked having to travel through Pottsville to Kingscliff to collect the keys then track back again, an extra 30+mins after a long drive, to return them to the agent when there was a lockbox attached to the front of the house. This house was pure frustration for older guests. There were 17 switches (buttons) on the living room walls to operate all the lights in that area but no guide as to which switch did what. It was the same in every room. Likewise the kitchen cupboards. It took us two days to work out how to close them and to remember what was where. The instructions on how to turn the oven on may as well have been written in Chinese. What oven doesn't use the temperature knob? Please think of older travellers and attach some clear, easily followed instructions or labels regarding the lights, the oven, the air conditioning, kitchen cupboard contents etc. Such a lovely house should have been more enjoyable. Very poor Telstra signal in the house.

Positive: Absolutely beautiful house, idyllic location, clean and nearly everything you need provided. A few minutes walk to the beach. Spacious and modern. We had 7 people staying, so the space was fantastic and all the rooms are large, plus the extra loungeroom was so useful. Lots of seating inside and outside. Close to shops and an easy drive to other towns and sights. Management by LJ Hooker was professional with very good communication. The girl at front desk when I dropped off the keys was so lovely and friendly. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend.

Negative: The biggest negative was picking up and dropping off keys to LJ Hooker in Kingscliff, which is 20 minutes drive from the house. The pantry is locked so there was nowhere to put food - we had to rearrange kitchen drawers to create storage or leave it on the bench. Not a huge issue but a bit inconvenient. My only other suggestion would be to perhaps supply salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen. So many other things provided that were greatly appreciated, these probably the only things noticeably missing. And maybe more board games.
