Negative: The room we were first allocated stunk of drains and they tried to disguise it with strong air fresheners which made it worse … but the staff were really helpful and did move us The second room was nice but you could hear the hand dryer in the pub toilets downstairs on every use .. it was noisy up until around 1230am but that’s to be expected in a pub

Negative: Unfortunately the couple in the room next to mine , was in the bar drinking till closing time, need less to say, they came to there room making a noise, this has no reflection on the black horse, it's the couple being inconsiderate.

Positive: The food was exceptional, room was clean and comfortable, I imagine the breakfast was also good but the bed was so comfortable I never made it!!

Negative: Nothing to not like, just a shame breakfast wasn’t available earlier at weekends.
