Summary: Very comfortable. No hot water on first morning, dealt with swiftly. Rooms are across a courtyard & it was pouring with rain. The pub was closed, it was hard to find anybody . Excellent breakfasts, Single room very tiny, adequate but had to crouch under the shower!

Summary: Beautifully fitted out rooms with every amenity readily available. We stayed across the road in an annex that was lively and quiet. Breakfast was superb as was the dinner the night before.

Summary: Nice pub with rooms. The building is very old and has exposed oak beams, uneven walls and a lot of character. There is a beautiful courtyard with lovely hanging baskets in full bloom. Tasty breakfast despite my egg being overcooked. My room was the smallest one (Jockey), but the single bed was fine even though I'm over 6 foot tall. The floor slopes towards the window which means that the bed also slopes down towards the head end which isn't great. The ensuite was very small and it was difficult to wash my face in the tiny sink without banging my head on the glass shelf above the sink. Shower head was a bit low for someone my height, but I was still able to have an adequate shower. It was good value (for the area) and I would definitely recommend it to others despite the few niggles.
