3 Bedroom House in Hermosa

This beautiful 3 bedroom ( full queen beds) 3-bathroom home, with a couch and camp cots available for additional sleeping space was built in March 2019. There is absolutely no road noise or any other distractions from your peaceful vacation. Enjoy the gas fireplace on the deck. The entire home is yours to enjoy during your stay! I only book one group at a time and I remain on site in the nearby guest quarters. Families with children are very welcome!! I provide s'mores fixins' which are a huge hit with kids and adults alike!! Some families have slept under the stars on camp cots in sleeping bags on the deck making precious memories!! New for 2021 is a game center downstairs that includes cornhole, air hockey, and ping pong the kiddos will love!! There is an outdoor heated stock tank hot tub and full downstairs lounge added during the summer of 2022!!
The space
This is a child and family friendly home, but please NO pets. You will have a 15 mile drive to Mount Rushmore!! The
Crazy Horse monument is nearby in Custer SD. All of the attractions and events that the beautiful Black Hills offer will be a short drive away. I will have several tour and event brochures available so that you can plan your daily activities. Rapid City (RAP), regional airport is only 35 minutes away! Deadwood is around an hour drive from Rapid City.
Guest access
The entire home would be available at your disposal. Full washer dryer and cooking amenities will be yours to use! Towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper and cleaning supplies will be provided as well. Please call or email if there are any questions. There is a detatched guest quarters near the main house.
Other things to note
This is a quiet, wonderful home with full amenities that I am excited to share with you!
The home is very close to most all of the Black Hills tourist attractions to include Mt. Rushmore, Keystone, Crazy Horse monument, Reptile Gardens, Custer Sate Park, Wind Cave National Park and the Black Hills National forest.
I have amazing neighbors and would ask that you respect the 15 mph. Speed restrictions in the entire development, and please observe the quiet hours in the morning and evening.
Also, absolutely no parties or pets are allowed.
High speed internet and WiFi was installed July of 2022!

Summary: The house was very comfortable! It was great after the hustle and bustle of the day to come back and enjoy the comfort of this beautiful home. Thad Was an amazing host always getting back to me right away. I’m very helpful with suggestions. Summary: This house & property is absolutely amazing. I think could sit on the back porch forever, it's so relaxing to sit in the peace and quiet and also see deer & turkey walking through the yard. The house is super clean and is stocked well. So many little touches provided by Thad too, like a smore kit and fresh cookies. I put this as the best rental I've ever stayed at. It's also located in a convenient place in the Black Hills to be able to get to places like My. Rushmore & Custer State park pretty easily. This place and the hospitality really contributed to a wonderful family road trip. Thank you!

Summary: An absolutely beautiful home and setting. I’m not sure where to begin — we had such an outstanding stay. There is so much to see and do in the Hills, but we found we loved the home and surrounding habit so much, we hated to leave for sight seeing and spent a lot of time there. I found one of the most enjoyable features were the daily animal visits… deer and turkey’s along their off spring made multiple trips to visit us. Finally, our host was wonderful and very responsive if needed. Thanks for such a great all around stay.

Summary: Special shout out to Thad and the crew at this property. Absolutely fantastic experience for us and our 5 young boys. Close to everything, but felt removed and secluded from the crowds. If we come back, we will seek to rent this property again!

Summary: The perfect location. Deer amd turkeys in our backyard every night. House was perfectly set up for a family of six. All cooking utensils, we used the grill, fire pit and pool too cool off. Loved it!!!

Summary: We enjoyed every minute! Very nice location for all the fun things on our list of things we wanted to do. Upon arrival the house was very very clean, well decorated and everything we needed to make our trip comfortable. We loved everything about this rental and highly recommend it to everyone. Such a nice owner, he even helped my daughter and son in law jump their car on the morning we left. Hope to visit again!
