Positive: Very good location to travel around Dorset county. Authentic, cosy and lovely English cottage. Feeling that the time stopped in there, But it gave certain charm. Big compliment for comfortable mattresses. Good fireplace to have a cosy evening near fire.

Positive: The cottage had a lovely cosy feel. It was small and quaint but surprisingly spacious - enough room for three children! It was well stocked, clean, warm with very tasteful decoration. Very helpful folder of information about the cottage and local area.

Negative: It took us a while to realise you had to look for the key box round the back, and some of the light switches were a bit difficult to find. But these are really minor points!

Positive: Parking on site. Dog friendly, Nice garden to exercise the dog. Quiet place. Owner most helpful.

Negative: Too many stairs for us as an elderly family. Could not see the name off the property in the dark, we needed to walk up and down the road to find the place in the dark. There needs to be better and brighter signage for house at street level, not set back on the garden fence.

Summary: Easy to find off the A37,more difficult to find once on Brakes Lane. Nice and homely older cottage

Negative: Needs updating, as in new furniture sofas especially. Has not got the cosy vib which can make it look so different ⁷

Positive: Fabulous cozy cottage in a great location for unbelievable walks but also a short drive to Yeovil for late night food when all the local pubs had finished serving ( after 8.30 so understandable ) Loved the stay and would like to return Xx
