Positive: This is a fantastic old town location. The harbour is beautiful, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. It's really easy to get to Valletta, and from there you can catch a bus to visit the whole island. Ira and Clint are wonderful hosts - they gave us some great suggestions for our holiday.

Positive: Really cozy aparment with airconditioning right in the Birgu centre. Was able to organize transport from airport to accommodation and back. Got tips and hints where to visit and what to do in Malta. Thanks for the help, wish to visit back in future.

Positive: Great location, 5 minute walk to ferries to Valletta. Plenty of things to see and do nearby. Good value for money.

Negative: The fridge door should be swapped over to open from the other side which is quite easy to do.

Summary: We had a great time here. The marina is very close and lots of restaurants to choose from.

Positive: Well equipped kitchen in an efficient compact space. Good wifi, quiet location, close to ferry to get to Valletta, comfortable bed and spacious bedroom. The space feels like you are staying in a tower which has a descending circular staircase that leads to the bedroom below. There is another cave like space next to the bedroom which you can enter by crouching through a low arch way that feels like a dungeon, a perfect place for a dragon or gollum like creature to dwell. In reality it is a storage space with an ironing board and a humidifier. It could be a good location to store your suitcase if you don’t mind the monsters rummaging through your things.

Negative: The shower is triangular shaped which makes it a bit cramped and the water pressure is weak especially when the water tank for the toilet is filling up but the hot water is excellent.

Summary: One of a kind quirky old town accommodation, it will be a place that you remember.

Positive: Quite a great and interesting location, with little places to eat and drink very close by, and the bus stop in the square, which is an excellent service, so you can drink coffee while waiting for the bus. The best thing for us was being collected at the airport and driven straight to the accommodation

Negative: If you are of a larger build descending the spiral staircase might be a little challenging. Considering the price, this place is a lovely place to stay and oh yes, the front door needs to be pulled towards you as you unlock it. Oh, and I forgot to say but just very useful having a washing machine

Summary: Taking into account the price an fabulous place for a visit to Valletta
