Positive: Fantastic location, and decor was lovely, a great mix of old and new. Clear information about checking in and advice about parking. Host very responsive. Roof terrace was great for breakfast and evening drinks. Everything you would need provided.

Negative: Fine for us, however some people may find access tricky as stairs are steep and spiral stair case inside apartment.

Positive: The communication with Andrew was always smooth. The apartment is so beautiful, tidy, minimalistic, and very good located.

Negative: The only thing which could be improved is to add a stove to the kitchen, so cooking home would also be an option especially for long stays since all the utensils (pans, pots, etc) already exist in the apartment.

Positive: Great apartment in a perfect location in the heart of ancient Birgu. Within minutes were restaurants and bars along the water and in the town square and the water taxi to Valletta. The apartment is in a historic townhouse and renovated to a high standard. Very stylish decor. The bed and sofa were very comfortable and the kitchenette well designed and outfitted (no range) but a large refrigerator and freezer. Small but well designed bathroom, with a good shower (although slow draining). The roof terrace is a big plus and is for the sole use of this apartment. Andrew, the host, was extremely responsive, competent and kind. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Malta.

Negative: There are a lot of stairs. 2 flights up from the street to the apartment, a 3rd flight up to the roof terrace and a spiral staircase to the loft bedroom. However this is what to expect in a historic townhouse. My wife and I are 68 and 77 years old and managed fine. If you have mobility issues this is not the place for you.
