Summary: We went for a long weekend with the kids (ages 2 and 3), and we had the "Birdie" cabin. While I expected rustic, this was neglected. The photos and description online didn't really match up to what we arrived to. Luckily, both my husband and I are outfitted for camping in tents and over packed (thank god). Unfortunately, Vrbo doesn't allow for image uploads. I could totally see someone showing up and not at all being prepared for the extra small mini-fridge, tiny sink, list of things to bring that's printed out and given to you upon arrival, and none of the watersports are free. There's no private fire pit and the BBQ lighter doesn't work. There was literally nowhere for us to sit and eat a meal, just some gross couch on the balcony - why wouldn't you put a picnic table there? The wi-fi worked for like 45mins of our entire stay. And the Smart TV they advertised was false. Not that we were there planning to stay inside, but if we had encountered a rainy day with two little toddlers, that would have been miserable. There are bizarre lights all over the property that don't add anything to the experience and would benefit from removing them. It's a gorgeous lakefront view, and that's what people travel there for. The beds were clean, but the pillows hurt to sleep on. I will also say that this area has great beaches for small children - sandy, clean, and shallow. The beach advertised as part of this property is very small, but again, there are other great spots all over town.

Summary: we enjoyed the stay throughout. had a smooth check-in and check-out process. only disappointment was the indoor pool that comes in the package was unavailable. My son was disappointed that he was unable to use it.

Summary: We enjoyed a pleasant stay. The bedrooms feature king sized beds that were very comfortable. The porch offered a great view of lake Simcoe. A quiet place perfect for a small getaway.

Summary: My friends and I had an amazing time! Smaller then expected but still great. Some things to be aware of: bbq lighter does not work (bring your own lighter), garbage bags are not supplied, and the beach area was smaller than pictured. Minor details, but overall a great stay :)
