Positive: The location is absolutely breathtaking. The host were welcoming and very helpful. The room had everything you need, very clean and we had a good night sleep as very quiet location. Breakfast was lovely, your choice of continental or a fry up. Overall a brilliant stay and would totally recommend it and stay there again.

Negative: We had arrived after a busy day and wanted to chill, we were offered to sit down in the conservatory where the view is beautiful .

Positive: The place and hosts were very nice. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The lake view was lovely.

Negative: One of their dogs started crying, howling and barking from 3am which woke us and we couldn’t get back to sleep. It was so sad to hear this dog so distressed. He was in an outside pen. The owner finally let him out around 6:30. The stay would have been perfect if not for this.

Summary: It would have been a wonderful stay if not for the crying dog
