Positive: I know the place from when it was a hospital and I loved that I could stay there in such a local iconic building. Instructions were clear, the apartment was lovely, clean, had all I needed and a Christmas tree! Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were provided and it had everything you need, esp for alinger stay (i was only there 1 night). I Would definitely recommend it and will stay again.

Negative: I thought I'd treat myself to a bath, but the water went cold half way through. Not sure if I missed a switch! Akso, there was a knack to the main entrance entry system - do it quickly and I was a bit slow so at 11.30pm when i was returning, it took me a while and I was panicking as no one was about!

Positive: This feels like my second home now, I would like to not review it so highly in case it is booked up on my next visit up north, but that would be unfair!! As I've been before the addition of the small tables and lamp make it a bit more cosy. A lovely apartment with superb views and so peaceful. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Thank you again

Positive: A comfortable, clean and well presented apartment, in a lovely old building. The facilities are great and the shower has good pressure. There is a fenced carpark and an allocated car parking space. The owner was pleasant and helpful in email communications and checked that everything was in order. Hollingworth Lake is well worth a visit and Rochdale Town Hall is stunning.

Negative: I underestimated climbing 2 flights of stairs, particularly as I had a lot of luggage and was staying there alone. On the plus side, my fitbit was happy. There was scaffolding covering the lounge window during my stay, but the views are still amazing from the bedroom window.

Positive: 2nd visit to this apartment and I feel like it's my second home now! Fantastic place, spotlessly clean and modern with a lovely comfy bed. Fully equipped kitchen, so much better than a hotel. Really Peaceful too, this is my go to place whenever I am up north

Negative: At the time of my visit there was scaffolding up outside the living area windows which wouldn't have been so bad had I not been escaping scaffolding at my house in Devon!! There seems to be an ongoing leak in the corridor outside so you have to negotiate buckets and plastic sheets but beyond the apartment owners control, I assume the work on the roof is to stop the leak in the corridor?? Out of the control of the apartment owner I know which must be frustrating. However didn't mar my stay. It is a gorgeous place!
