Positive: The location, beautiful hotel and barns , garden , deco , peaceful, and relaxing .

Negative: I did find a few cobwebs hanging down above my bed , menu could have more variety , shame we couldn’t have a sandwich or toastie , but they stoped it at a certain time . And the pool was way too cold . Other than that my stay was amazing.

Negative: The pool area was a little crowded on occasions.

Positive: Lovely staff, food (restaurant) very good and attractively presented, interesting old manor house

Negative: Room was not well cleaned after last guest (s). Carpet unvacuumed, dust on bedside cabinets and lamps, throw on bed grubby-looking and probably at end of its life, bathroom hand lotion wall dispenser was empty. One window blind had a broken cord and the other's cord was missing, so couldn't pull it up or down. Also room (Superior Barn Double) did not look much like website photo and seemed a little small.

Negative: 1. Breakfast was okay but nothing special if you didn't want a fry-up, a shame given the excellent dinner Not much else to mention (note: we didn't use the spa facilities) - but we didn't have to suffer a conference in the hotel at the time we stayed
