Positive: Ingrid always prepared delicious breakfasts. I was there for 9 days and loved the variety. I also appreciated and enjoyed the extras of fresh bottled fruit juices, the chance to experience a meal of oil down, the national dish, and a barbecue prepared fresh1 The pool is wonderful.It was also fun to be invited to add some art to the walls of the dining area!!

Negative: Perhaps in the rooms with windows facing the afternoon sun there could be a roll down blind as it got quite hot in the room despite the fan.

Summary: A wonderful way to experience the real Grenada. If you are fit, you can find great walking.

Positive: Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background.

Negative: A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

Summary: Stunning location, all-but deserted beach 15 mins walk away, lovely people, totally relaxing.

Negative: One fan. Very hot. No shutters , lots of outside lights. Also much building going on.

Summary: Very cheap accommodation and you get what you pay for.

Positive: Away from the crowds. Lovely host and gardens and an amazing swimming pool. The host provides meals with a real home cooked vibe. WiFi works well in the communal areas. Peaceful and relaxing place The hosts two dogs are so gentle and friendly. The lodges provided are pretty basic, but very clean with mosquito nets and strong fans.

Negative: Place still not finished so there is some building work going on. The WiFi didn't work in my room, but that encourages you to just switch off. No hot water in the shower. Supermarket and restaurants are a 10 minute uphill walk away.

Positive: Great location in the middle of a tropical forest overlooking the ocean. 15-minute walk to Cabier beach. Perfect for a morning dip or any time you choose. My host Ingrid is a great cook serving ample portions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great place to relax, distress, and get back to nature.
