Positive: This place is a hidden gem. Beautiful mountain village. Wooden chalet style, nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are very clean. Great breakfast with fresh local products. I am definitely coming back.

Positive: We stayed there for one night to extend our ski holiday and be able to ski in Lauchernalp, too. It is a charming traditional old house; we booked a room with shared bathroom because that was the only one available for our date in the main ski season. We did not have high expectations but enjoyed our stay very much. It was kind of a mountain hut feeling with a lot more comfort. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and had soap, shampoo available and there was a bathrobe in our room as well. The owners were extremely nice and accommodated all our wishes. The hotel has a restaurant and we had fondue from the ala cart menu for dinner, which was excellent, but I wish I booked half board because the 5-course dinner the cook served for another group looked amazing. I am happy to return to this small hotel when I am back in the "magic valley" next time, which is an outdoor paradise with lots of traditions.

Negative: The soundproofing of the rooms is not too good, but it is an old wooden house so we knew what to expect. If you plan to sleep late the cracking of the wooden floors may wake you up in the morning when other people wake up, but most people who stay there are in the valley for active holidays and wake up early, so did we, so it was not an issue for us.
