Come spend the weekend in a log cabin on 120 acres of timber and prairie at Beyond Seclusion in Southeast NE, just 60 minutes from Lincoln or 1.5 hours from Omaha.

The comfortable log sided cabin is nearly a mile off the road, leaving you undisturbed so you can enjoy the feeling of total seclusion. Price per night is based on ONE family (parents/children) additional family or guests is $50 per person/family. Contact with questions.

The space

Beautiful pond for fishing, swimming, and boating. Just got 2 NEW Kayaks and Pedal Boat for use at pond along with a Jon Boat.

There are three decks where you can sit, relax, and watch wildlife. There is also a 17’ observation deck off the second deck from which you can see as far as Kansas!

The possibilities for outdoor activities are endless and include:
• Fishing (smallmouth bass, rock bass, wipers, yellow perch, redear sunfish, bluegill, walleye) CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY! TROPHY FISH, don't have to go to Canada to catch BIG Small Mouth Bass.
• Hiking (miles of trails)
• Swimming
• Mushroom hunting in the spring
• Doing nothing, just enjoying the seclusion and quiet
• And much, much, more.
Guest access
Fishing (Small Mouth Bass, Walleye, etc.), Boating, Swimming, Hiking trails (be sure to bring "appropriate" footwear), Nature Watching, Camp Fires, etc.
Other things to note
You MUST call before arrival, I like to "speak" to my guests and DO NOT use GPS, I will send you a map!

Pond has NEW pedal boat, NEW Kayaks, and Jon boat included. We also have some items for sale frequently forgotten or run out of (bug spray, sunscreen, propane). NOTE: there is a gas grill at cabin that uses the small green camping propane tanks, YOU must bring what you use. There is also a fire pit at cabin (has cooking grate) and charcoal grill by pond. Currently, we only accept cash so plan accordingly.

NOTE: Guests are responsible for any and all damages to boats. Currently, we do not provide life jackets, use the boats at your own risk.

The pond is about 500 yards from the cabin with a rock road you can drive to it. The pond is visible from our house (house overlooks pond) and we on occasion (usually with guest permission) use the pond while guests are there. The pond is considered "shared" but rarely will we use or be at the pond while guests are here.

This is our home and we are looking for family and friends that are looking to enjoy the outdoors. We do not prohibit drinking, however this is not the place to come with friends with the purpose of drinking. Drinking is STRONGLY discouraged for safety reasons! This is not a location for a party or such activities.

This is a hunting/fishing cabin, NOT the Embassy Suits. We do not have a professional cleaning service but the cabin will be clean and ready to go. We use the cabin regularly and there may be a few food/beverage items in the refrigerator and cabinets. Please do not use or throw away! There will be more than enough room for your things.

You will be required to sign a Liability Waiver upon arrival.

Previous guests have given good rated it, and VRBO labeled it a top-rated Cabin because of the excellent services rendered by the owner or manager of this Cabin, and has consistently provided great experiences for their guests.
