Positive: The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was made with care. Compared to other Best Western hotels we’ve stayed at, the selection was surprisingly varied. A fun little detail: groups of chickens – complete with proud roosters – wander around the property. One of them likes to crow now and then, but hey, that’s just part of the rural charm in a town.

Negative: The pool could use a bit more attention.

Negative: None of the workout equipment actually worked so that was disappointing. The sheets were poor quality and abrasive. These need to be upgraded. The TV was small and need to be upgraded.

Positive: Location was great.

Negative: The toilet in our room wobbled when you sat on it. The fauct to the sink was 1/8 inch from the basin. Had the old round knob lever. The breakfast hashbrown potatoes were soggy. The bacon so thin, you could practically see through it.

Summary: It was very clean, pretty affordable. Location was great. Lots of roosters free roaming.

Positive: Good breakfast items. I only wish there was some hot breakfast items to serve but it was good. The place was very clean and like the fact that it had a gym there.

Negative: The bed was bit creaky and a bit too soft and bumpy. The front door also didn't close that well, I had to use much force to get it to close all the way.

Summary: It was nice and comfortable and clean and very reasonably priced.

Negative: Once in the room, the remote control for the television did not work. And the hairdryer was not working as well. 🙁
