Summary: The room had a strange stench to it. Possibly someone smoking outside the sliding glass door. The A/C unit was absurdly loud, but I had gotten to the hotel at midnight, and didn’t want to bother moving all my things to another room. I woke up every half hour from the a/c unit. I also had a poor experience at the airport just before checking into this hotel. Overall, I won’t be using PDX as a layover point anymore.

Summary: We stay at this hotel every time we visit family in Portland. We choose this hotel partly because it includes breakfast. On our last morning we were informed that the breakfast room was closed because they had no one to run it. There really should be a back up plan for that. We were in a hurry and that threw off our entire schedule. Only after we asked about a compensation did we receive a $20 credit
