Summary: I almost exclusively use Best Western, and my flagship locations are Salem OR and Yakima WA. Unfortunately the Willmar location is a tired hotel, not what you would expect for $200 which is more than any other BW I have stayed at. Lumpy pillows?? Wow, thats what I would expect from old budget motels from my past. They tried to make it nice with modern coffee makers, mini fridge and so on, but the bed, pillows, shower, hall carpet and exterior gave its age away. Their Bar and Grill ‘Ruffs’ was nice with great beer and great staff but they couldn’t do a burger right, too greasy of a bison burger, no veggies on top. The weight room and spa looked good but I didn’t check them out.
