Positive: Pretty standard free hot breakfast that all hotels serve these days. Nothing unusual...not gourmet...but okay.

Negative: We arrived one hour earlier than planned....we had driven almost 350 miles...when we got there the desk clerk told us that we would have to pay a $25 fee for checking in early....I have NEVER seen that at any hotel anywhere in the world and I have traveled extensively. She was almost rude...so we left and drove around town, bought fuel and went back a hour later. I thought that was unnecessary...she said our room was not ready and we could have been invited to wait in the lobby or moved to another room. The bed was awful...so we only stayed one night...checked out the following afternoon after the funeral that we came to attend and drove home. I know we don't deserve a refund for only staying the one night. When we checked out the clerk said 'if you had booked directly with us (instead of through a third party) then we could have adjusted your bill." (We were actually given a LESSER room than I booked through you. We were supposed to get a room for with disability provisions with a kitchenette. We ended up having a room with only a microwave and refrigerator...which I believe was a cheaper priced room). Never had that happen before either...they got paid for the second night...whether it was through booking.com or if I had booked direct...guess it's just a part of traveling now!

Summary: Acceptable for the situation we were there for...attending a funeral. Would not go back on vacation!
