Negative: They asked for a deposit of 100 euro even dough we payed the room with breakfast in advance. It shows no trust in your guests, which I don’t like. We asked for a mat in the shower, they did not have any. They give us a ‘upgrade’ but we had to change again because the upgrade had a bath and we specifically choose a shower.
Summary: It was okay. Staff was friendly, bed was good, but we won’t be staying here again.

Positive: The inside of the building is nice, clean, fancy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is not very large, but really well maintained and with high-quality products. At peak moments, there is not enough room to seat everyone for breakfast, though. Overall a very good experience, in a nice city - we did not expect Nancy to be so large and offer so many attractions. We will be back, and probably in the same hotel. Parking in a public car park at 200m was convenient - we were afraid that this car park would be full between Xmas and New Year, but in fact there was plenty of space.
Negative: The outside façade of the building itself is not fantastically impressive, but the location is very good (very central). The most annoying part about the facilities (pool, spa, ...) is that fact that EVERYTHING needs to be booked in advance, plus the fact that you receive tons of mails instructing you to book in advance - so at least we were warned. Those same e-mails also mention compulsory installation of a "Best Western" phone app for booking, which we did not install, but this also turned out not to be needed after all. We were travelling with two kids, and had hoped to use the pool occasionally without prior reservation, but so this was not possible.
Summary: Good stay, convenient for a few-day city trip. Pleasant and well-maintained rooms and public spaces
