Summary: This is probably the best value for a hotel in California. It's a charming property with a tropical theme including banana trees. The service is among the best I have encountered in any hotel. The breakfast is hearty and fit for a combative sports athlete. My only slight critique is that there are only showers and no bath tubs, which seems to be a thing with certain older properties in California. Still, this hotel provides a relaxing experience and an overwhelmingly good value.

Summary: Got in late (about 11 pm) and took a shuttle to hotel. Older hotel/motel but clean and safe. huge breakfast next morning that was excellent. Hotel gave a ride to pick up car rental next am. Since it was a quick in and out - we would stay there again.
