Positive: The hotel is relatively new and rooms are clean and comfortable. Ample parking. Location is ok—off major road and only a few minutes to all the major shopping and dining areas, but other hotels in the city are located closer to the university and the central dining/shopping district. Breakfast has a variety of choices and decent hours.

Negative: Fitness center had only a bike, elliptical, and treadmill and the treadmill was out of order. Room temperature was erratic—Texas was going through a late December heatwave and we needed the AC but could not get temp in the room comfortable—it was either freezing or too warm. We also asked for a room with two queen beds, but the clerk at check in assigned us a room with a single king bed, then promptly tried to check in someone else to the same room right after us after she thought she’d assigned us to a different room. Then she disabled our keys—in order to prevent the person she’d assigned to our room from getting in…..

Positive: Very nice property. Felt safe! Breakfast was hot with lots of choices. And juices too.

Negative: No rooms available down stairs, but that’s my fault for checking in so late

Negative: Toilet was noisy and could not take a bath. Stopper to switch from shower to faucet didn’t work Noisy people upstairs running and stomping until after midnight
