Positive: Whilst being very outdated, the room was very large and spacious. The facilities were amazing and staff were friendly.

Negative: It was overpriced for what we got ane the location was far away from everything, while there was a bus stop outside, it was still a 30 minute journey into Edinburgh main town.

Positive: We like this property because it has a quiet location yet is still close to amenities and delights of Edinburgh Food is very good. Staff great and there is a pool

Negative: Was shocked to discover that previously free parking at this hotel is now charged £8 per night. They charge plenty for the privilege to stay at the hotel, they charge plenty if you wish to bring a dog so we found it galling to be charged for parking also. One can only get there by car so they have their guest over a barrel.

Positive: The room was adequate.

Negative: The lighting was not adequate. I was very disappointed to arrive and discover that I was going to be charged £8 for parking. As a hotel resident I feel that this charge should have been waived and actually the £8 charge was very large when compared with my room rate. Who are these people who are parking without staying at the Hotel? They should be directly penalised. To me all this extra parking is illogical at that location.
