Positive: Location is close to Bath and has a lovely outside area.. perfect for warm evenings, the place while very dated does have a character The beds and towels were nice and clean

Negative: It's very dated, the bars in particular smell of beer..Our room did not have a heating that was working which made it very cold at night. wWe arrived late and with kids, I used hairdryer to warm up their beds as had no energy to dress up to go looking for staff at midnight.

Summary: Inexpensive but for a reason..can just pass as a one nighter

Positive: Liked location as 20 minutes from bath Carpark decent size just poorly lite

Negative: Receptionist was not as friendly on arrival as expected Once entered room noticed some areas not cleaned well Shower pressure great but sound super loud Bed super comfy Breakfast had large variety however was not manged by staff well as alot was needing topping up like juice

Positive: The fantastic staff on reception on Friday and Saturday evening. Different ladies, but both exceptionally helpful and extremely helpful

Negative: Saturday night, could hear people walking about upstairs and then noisy when got back from party at midnight.

Positive: Staff did not really explain what was on the menu. I didn't know i could have a full English breakfast prepared for me. I only had toast on both occasions. Communicate needs to be better. I.paid for it but didn't get value for money.

Negative: Lack of communication with regards to the menu. Subsequently, I was charged 120.00 pounds instead of 90.00 for my room. I'm conscious that I checked in at about just past 7.00am and checked out before 18.30 on the same day. I think these times can be accommodated especially if the hotel is not too busy. This is how you win valuable customers by being flexible.

Positive: Had character. Several different lounges/ bars/restaurant areas.

Negative: Different areas separated by a few steps. Clearer signs for which is the pub car park and the hotel car park would be helpful. Soap dispenser in en suite was empty on arrival and no extra toilet rolls available in room.

Summary: Tasty evening meal and excellent full English breakfast..
