Fully renovated 2-bedroom apartment on the first floor of what was formally a 1700's hemp works. Large lounge picture window offering spectacular panoramic views over the Cromarty Firth and hills and mountains beyond of the north and West Highlands. Arguably the best views in Cromarty. The apartment is on the first floor and has a private entrance.
There is an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with large picture window offering great views over the Cromarty Firth. Ample seating for 4 on a 2-person settee and 2 armchairs. 50” TV with Freeview channels, there is a selection of maps, books and games. The modern kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, microwave oven, toaster, kettle and a variety of kitchenware. For dining in, there is a table and 4 chairs. The master bedroom has a double bed with bedside units with lights and alarm clock radio. Fitted wardrobe and tallboy storage unit. This room also has a TV. The second bedroom has a single bed with a pull-out mattress to accommodate a 4th guest. There is a bedside unit with light and alarm clock radio and wardrobe. There is a shower room with a good sized mains shower, wash hand basin and toilet. Outside there is off-street parking directly outside the apartment and easy access to the beach and town centre. There are deck chairs and buckets and spades for building sand castles on the nearby Cromarty beach. The apartment has an iron and ironing board, free wi-fi, a selection of books, maps, games and a hairdryer. A cot and high chair are available upon request at no extra charge – please let us know well in advance of arrival if you require these.

Summary: Located right on the harbour/beach front, down from the Royal Hotel, this first floor apartment has the most stunning views over the Firth and Easter Ross.It is very clean & tidy, with a modern bathroom & kitchen, fresh carpets/flooring and comfortable beds. We were very happy here for our 2 night stay and Cromarty is such an interesting and peaceful town

Summary: Cromarty is a beautiful community village, quiet place to stay, Harbour view apartment must be the best place to stay in Cromarty, With view over the firth and harbour, usually something going on. Lovely walks and gentle cycling along the coast. Close to lovely bakery cheers shop and suitor creek take away! The only down side, we found the double bed on one side very uncomfortable, and the duvets were to hot! Too cold without them too hot with them… so we didn’t sleep very well, that maybe just us .The apartment got warm in the beautiful sunny weather we had. But everything else was good we would love to return again one day.

Summary: First floor apartment in excellent location with good view over beach and small harbour. Spent most of our indoors time sitting at the table by the main window. Beds very comfortable. Lots of parking space next to building. The village of Cromarty is compact and charming with beautiful and historically interesting buildings. Not many shops, but those that are there had great quality and character (excellent cheese shop for example). The oil rigs in the bay can come as a shock as they add an industrial feel to the view, but we found them interesting…even got lit up at night. Sutor Creek care/takeaway excellent quality just round corner from apartment.

Summary: Second time around for us - it's all about the view from the dining table... Watching the Cromarty harbour action go by, the waves, the sunset and, on the odd occation, dolphins! Cool wee place for a holiday. Just one thing to comment on: the small double bed - for tall people like us it's a bit of a squeeze...

Summary: The best thing is the large picture window overlooking Cromarty Harbour. There is always activity to see, and the mountains provide an ever-changing backdrop. It is west-facing and we saw some stunning sunsets. The apartment itself is clean, tidy and well equipped. It is also more spacious than we expected, and could want no more for week's stay (although a dishwasher would have been nice!). The owners had left some very useful information which we found helpful in planning days out.
