Positive: -Amazing view and location -amazing owners, they really take care of this place and surprised us with lots of goods left for us at the beginning of our stay -isolated location

Negative: Personally we loved it. For future bookers - don’t be surprised how far is to go to any shop and temperature up the mountain will be always couple of degrees lower

Positive: Our stay was outstanding from start to finish. The communication was excellent and the hosts were so accommodating when it came to arrival times ( we arrived well after 9pm). Katerina and George have thought of everything in this villa and we had everything we needed for a really relaxing stay. The location is out of this world and the views are amazing! The additional treats that Katerina had prepared were so thoughtful and absolutely delicious. There is nothing around and it is so quiet. Paleochora and Sougia are a quick 20 min drive if you need supplies or dinner etc. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Positive: The location is absolutely breathtaking! Nestled in the heart of the mountains, the house offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Coming from London city life, this was the perfect holiday destination for us. We were surrounded by majestic mountains and goats, with the added luxury of a small, private pool. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. They recommended a local taverna just a five-minute drive away, where we enjoyed the best Greek food imaginable. We loved it so much that we dined there every day of our stay. I couldn't recommend this property enough.

Negative: You definitely need a car! Even the local supermarket is a 20 min drive.

Summary: This mountain retreat, with stunning views, was the perfect escape from London.

Positive: The hosts are both welcoming and considerate of all your needs. We arrived late and Katerina provided supplies for supper and breakfast, as well as fruit bowl and extra treats such as her home made Walnut Liquer. The villa itself is wonderful - one of the best views I have seen! It is very isolated, just you, some passing goats and the stars at night, there are no neighbours, and no one to disturb you - yet we felt very safe and secure at the property. The pool is delightful on a hot afternoon, and the seating arranged around the villa ensures plenty of shade and sun, whichever your preference. Beds are comfy and plenty of space in the villa - although there was just the two of us. It is away from main towns and amenities (for us that was the appeal), but there is an outstanding restaurant in Temenia and a great little local traditional store about 10 min drive away. If you want a break away from it all and truly relax in the most wonderful of settings, the BMVV is perfect! We will be back!
