Summary: Stayed in the India, a mews room up a spiral staircase in a building in the car park. Room was over done in decor, and floor was noisy with a massive wooden wardrobe rocking around , whenever you went to the dressing table . Visited the restaurant, was extremely expensive for food, and no draught beers, £6.50 for a 330ml Peroni, the hotel should be embarrassed! I had the fish and chips , and was poorly that next day, and I have a hardy stomach. Would be lovely in the summer, with a takeaway delivered

Summary: This is the most wonderful hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay in the UK. It really is exceptional, from the stunning building / decor and five star service from staff. It’s like stepping into an episode of Bridgerton and the bed & bathroom had the WOW factor. Highly recommend.

Summary: Huge room with all the usual amenities and lots of character. Attached bathroom was nearly as big with a roll top bath and walk in shower. Excellent service in the restaurant at both dinner and breakfast. Food was very good. Would definitely stay again
