Negative: There was a little noise from the ventilation system that disturbed our daughters. Also, one could hear footsteps from the room above.

Positive: Staff are very polite - and super helpful. The room is like coming back in time - to the 1990's. Solid Danish made room which have not been updated for decades - its nothing special but it works!

Negative: The hotel is overpriced but its in a calm and noble neighborhood. Access only by car. The breakfast room is placed 400 meters away so I never had time to even try the breakfast there. Parking lot was gravel and with ENORMOUS POTHOLES - and unfortunately with (Europark) warning signs several places stating that you will get a parking fine if you park there.

Summary: Overpriced for what you get, but good and calm location.

Positive: The breakfast area is so beautiful and overall the area is amazingly beautiful. The surrounding park also looks amazing

Negative: There was NO warm water in the evening in the showers, no matter how long I waited for it to get warm. Luckily in the morning I managed to get some warm water to wash my hair

Positive: Bernstoffs Castle is a real Castle with a huge lovely garden/ground situated just 5 min away (by car) from Gentofte City, where you have shops and restaurants. Lovely building, lovely surroundings. Great Breakfast served at the Castle, both upstairs in they Royal locale and downstairs in wonderful surroundings. We found two excellent (Italian) restaurants. One just 500M right out of the hotel at the traffic circle, and another downtown Gentofte.

Negative: Very little not to like. A/C not available, but if days are hot it cools down at night, so no problem sleeping even on a hot day. Best to have a car which can be parked for free. (You cannot find free parking closer to Copenhagen).

Summary: Lovely hotel in a wonderful building on the grounds of the beautiful Bernstoffs' Castle/grounds.
