Positive: Lovely hotel, lovely staff. I would recommend and visit again. Room was good, clean and comfy

Negative: A bit dated perhaps. The guy in the huge artwork, a bit disconcerting. We found the mattress a bit hard and the pillows puzzlingly soft

Positive: Nice quiet neighborhood away from all the crowd in Berlin. Spacious rooms with big balcony and big bathroom was really a delight. They have sauna and swimming pool which was very clean and well maintained. Nice friendly staff as well. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in a European hotel, lots of vegetarian options. Good heating in the room.

Negative: The bed/mattress and towels could have been better for a 4 star hotel. A kettle in the room with some tea bags and coffee, would have been great specially for winters. It was hard to understand the room cleaning schedule, sometimes morning at 9 and sometimes at 12 noon.

Summary: Great stay for the price.

Positive: Location is great, easy access to the metro. Our cleaning lady made sure our room was clean and tidy.

Negative: Our room was prepared only for one guest and when we requested bedding for the second one, we were given a pile of things we had to move upstairs ourselves. The room was spacious, but needs renovation in the long run, because it was quite stuffy.

Positive: Although a bit dated, the room was a good size and well appointed. The location was outstanding, quick and easy access to local transport and a number of very good restaurants within easy walking distance. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was nice.

Negative: We had a faulty light in the entrance hall of the room, which although reported immediately on check-in, was not repaired until six days later, apparently due to a lack of maintenance personnel; we were given one free breakfast as an apology. With no aircon, it was necessary to leave the windows open, which results in a lot of early morning street noise. Breakfast is an optional extra at €23 per person but the buffet is not worth the cost.
