Positive: Fantastic stay! Hostel has great common areas and two very well stocked kitchens, including spices and oils for cooking. Location is perfect as you’re directly across from the park + beach and the downtown area is easily accessible by bus (which is free with your free visitor card you get from the hostel). Staff was very lovely and extra helpful with arranging my booking needs/changes. I would definitely stay again!

Positive: Really close to aare river which was my main goal during the stay. Breakfast is good, it has variety! If you're coming to Bern for the swiming, no need to worry about the submersive bag, they sell on the reception!

Negative: the only complain about the hostel are the bunk beds, when people move on the top one it becomes very noisy.

Positive: The property was well-maintained. It has a stylish lobby with a bar and some tables. There is parking available. We did breakfast there. Their dining room is really pretty. I really liked having breakfast there. The space has a nice vibe kind of modern but with a lot of wood. There’s a spiral staircase off the breakfast room and if you go up, there’s a table, some couches and a TV and children’s books. It’s a space that would be easily overlooked by most guests. They don’t tell you about it. The breakfast was nice with options.

Negative: The rooms at first glance are really cool looking and the aesthetic is kind of industrial. But staying in the room was not that pleasant. It’s one of the smallest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. There were four of us and we were in bunkbeds and there was not much room around the bunkbeds. There was nowhere to sit. I probably wouldn’t stay here again simply for that reason and there’s not really anything they can do about that. The towels and linens are provided, but you have to put them on yourself. Also, the girl running the breakfast bar seemed like she let things run completely out and would still wait a few minutes before resupplying it almost seemed like it was by design so people wouldn’t take too much. I didn’t like that. But the offerings were a nice selection when things were all out. I didn’t know if she wasn’t very good at her job or if that was how she was instructed to do things.

Positive: Breakfast was good, and nice dinner offer. I liked that the dorm room had a door to separate the lockers/sink from the beds.

Negative: Showers could have been cleaner. Dorm beds were not very comfortable.
