Positive: Amazing atmosphere and location. Spectacular views of the area. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. The food and drinks are delicious. The included breakfast was tasty and filling. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Negative: If you are not driving a car here, the transportation becomes limited. The nearest bus stop is 6.2 km away in Malix. The best bet for those not driving is to get a taxi or Uber. Luckily we were able to get an Uber.

Positive: A warm welcome to a homely alpine lodge - Made to feel at home as family. Generous portions cooked for dinner and breakfast. Thankyou Tomas for your and your families care and attention to making our stay memorable. Not to mention the location in the mountains, 5 mins walk from the Brambruesch cable car. We will be back to climb the mountain and toboggon the rail.

Negative: Not a lot of hiking trails up there, but can wander and have good views.

Positive: Lovely hosts who welcomed us very warmly! The restaurant on site is something special - we had the best schnitzel and langosh there that we ever had! Food was always fresh and prepared with care. Stayed for a couple of nights there to enjoy the mountains. Easy enough during the day to go for hikes to the surrounding peaks through fields of flowers and amazing views. Very quiet and relaxing at nights.

Positive: The traditional wooden chalet was set in a beautiful location at the top of the mountain in Brambruesch, a gondola/cable car ride or 20/30 minute car journey from Chur city centre. The hotel was very clean and well cared for. We had a large family room with stunning views over the valley. It had a large comfy double bed plus bunk beds and a table and seating for 6 people. Bergpension Battagliahutte had a great homely feel thanks to the hosts Tomas and his lovely family who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.
