Positive: Clean, warm comfortable and safe parking. Breakfast arrangements slightly strange but clearly in a transitional period. Member of staff providing breakfast for hotel guests could not have done more to make it a pleasant experience if slightly strange.

Positive: We liked the room, the parking also good.. particularly liked the shower room and a very comfortable bed.

Negative: Not the usual hotel facilities.. no bar, no restaurant for hot evening meal.. we had a telephone number to call for the reception, however made the assumption that we were the only people in the hotel during our stay… although luxurious in some parts, very lacking in atmosphere.

Negative: Overpriced at £175 (they put the price up as the only last 2 rooms were available) for one night with no food available at the hotel and the bar ran out of beer and soft drinks. Otherwise accommodation was good.

Positive: Location was poor gates were locked had to go next door to get them to ring as they didn’t answer us if I hadn’t of already paid we would have gone elsewhere. I have no idea how it gets 4 stars
