Positive: Definitely one of the more memorable places I've stayed. The rooms are furnished in keeping with the historic style of the house and Shelley – the innkeeper – was a very welcoming and helpful host. Groton itself is charming village with many more amenities than I was expecting – there's bar, a couple of restaurants and even a few interesting shops. We only stayed one night but very much enjoyed our visit.

Positive: Unique historical building. Clean bedding and very comfortable beds. Staff is very friendly, good breakfasts. Close easy commute to Ithaca. Sadly only stayed there for one night, but nightly recommend it!

Positive: Shelly was absolutely wonderful at everything she does.

Negative: No microwave in room. No spa tub as listed in description of the room, just a stand up shower.
