Summary: Warm and welcoming home, with large, well appointed rooms with all the modern conveniences. Walking distance to Tryon Palace and the the vibrant restuarant and bar scene. Gretchen a delightful host, filled with local knowledge and insights on the history of this the former capital of North Carolina. Fresh homemade breakfast a real treat, excellent!

The rooms are spacious clean and beautifully decorated The Innkeepers were welcoming and very knowledgeable about the history of the area Breakfast was delicious and healthy. Just perfect!

Summary: Breakfast wasn’t my cup of tea (I’m really picky) but everything else was great. My room was in the front of the house, closest to the street so it did get a little noisy. Service was great though. Nice property.
