Summary: The bathroom was exceptionally dark, and there was an odor coming from the drains. On our second night, the hallway smelled like someone had lit a campfire at one end. And on both nights we were there. Our room was very smoky. Ironic, given that the hotel charges a fee if there is even a hint of smoke odor in the room. We were told that the smell was because our room was over a lower floor fireplace, and we could have asked for a different room, but we had also been told the hotel was fully booked. But if you know, the fireplace is an issue, why rent the room? Or better yet why not fix the problem? The staff was generally very friendly.
