Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Excellent location just off the High Street and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Many good restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute walk. The house was well appointed and equipped . There was plenty of accommodation for our large family group of 10. The bedrooms were all large with comfortable beds. The first floor front bedroom was amazing with a dressing area and a huge bathroom with slipper bath, shower and his and her basins. Comfortable living room with plenty of seating and a large kitchen.

Negative: A few more mugs in the kitchen would be useful - there were only 8 and one was cracked. Also the dishwasher didn't clean very well - possibly we were using the wrong program but there were no instructions. The lighting in the living room was slightly problematic. If the main top light was on, it was too bright and if it was turned off the side lamps didn't give enough light. We had to bring a lamp down from one of the bedrooms.

Summary: A very comfortable and well appointed house for a large family gathering.

Positive: The house was well laid out with adequate space and a lovely garden space. The location was quite good for the shops with a local Co-Op very close for any groceries. However, the house was probably a 5-10 minute walk to the beach if you have small children but is close to a small park which was a bonus.

Negative: The house felt it needed a little bit of maintenance. There was not a house pack available on arrival therefore we were unable to access Wifi until next day. When the house pack was delivered the wifi passcode was not correct so this needs up dating. We had issues with the main bathroom shower screen although this was resolved very quickly. The remotes for both lounge and kitchen televisions were not working and needed new batteries which was a bit of a flaff as there where none in the house. There was not enough plates and glasses when the house is fully occupied and it would appear the dishwasher was not working properly as all the mugs etc. were required to be washed by hand perhaps filters etc. needed to be cleaned. The kitchen cupboards are particularly high so it would be helpful if the plates etc could be arranged in a lower cupboard. These are all small things, however when you experience several issues it does became more of a problem.
