Positive: Beautiful location- very serene and enjoyed renting a kayak for a few hours! Accommodation was simple and basic but equipped with what I needed. Helped with transportation back to the port!

Negative: Depending on the room/hut you have then would recommend earplugs! Food wasn't always available but was often pointed in the direction of walkable places to eat! The place maybe a little outdated and needing a little TLC!

Positive: The hut on the water had exactly what I needed. Even with rain no problem because of the big veranda. Very friendly and welcoming host. Very delicious omelette for breakfast. For me overall, the best experience so far on the Philippines after two weeks. Many thanks again!

Positive: This was the best decision we made! We booked a premium room and 2 regular rooms all were clean and comfortable, exactly as described. The food here is amazing fresh and great value! The owners are so sweet, generous and helpful! They asked us what we were doing everyday and helped arrange all our plans, from dives to boat rides to car rentals. The common/main area is comfy and chill with an epic view. We absolutely loved our stay.

Positive: Such an amazing stay at the bellalouise! Thank you to the wonderful family who made it amazing. The food is delicious (a bit pricey though) and the views lovely. It is relatively quiet as well, and very near the diving shops for which we were there. It is far from coron (50mins) and the airport (30mins) so we highly suggest you get your own scooter. Pro tip: get yourself a packed breakfast (order the tapsilog!!! Thank me later) for the next day. On 4.5 days there we had 7 tapsilogs… best one we’ve had in 3 months in the Philippines.

Negative: Nothing really! Perhaps cooled water is the only thing.

Positive: Very warm and hospitable owners. The lodging is close to the ocean so you can sleep listening to the waves and wake up, ready for water activities like kayaking. Bella Louise's place is a great location to experience nature and local life, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Not to mention, the food they serve is great! They offer vegetarian dishes too!
