Summary: The hotel is not the most attractive from the outside, but that doesn't really matter. Plenty of parking on-site. We stayed in the cottage annex upstairs, No complaints at all. Room was small but functional. Bed was comfy. Bathroom quite large and well lit. Shower was powerful and as warm as you'd like, and most importantly ... glass doors and not ghastly curtains! Food in restaurant was really good ... and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. All in all a good stay, would highly recommend, and we would definitely stop again if in the area.

Summary: Disappointing stay in Knightley which is apparently an indulgence room. A smaller room than I expected. There was nowhere to put anything, just a hanging rail with 4 pretty but small hangers and nothing on which to hang trousers. There was a small bottle of fresh milk but no fridge in which to put it so rather pointless. It had a superking bed which was good but I found it too hard. Just one chair under the overhanging TV and a small stool. We couldn’t get the shower cool enough nor could a member of staff so I just had to boil my head in order to wash my hair and my husband didn’t bother. The ‘quiet lounge’ had 3 small armchairs and a door to the hotel office which was open and occupied by 3 staff - no privacy for them or us. The sloe gin and whisky would have been nice touches had everything else been good.

Summary: Stayed one Night - But will be back - Lovely Venue - Evening Meal and Breakfast Superb - Fantastic Beer Garden / Selection of Drinks - Room very Comfortable and Quiet - Very interesting to know that there are other Bel and the Dragon to be explored.

Summary: Warm welcome and free upgrade to the cottage as my wife has difficulty with stairs. Good evening meal and breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: No fan in the room incredibly hot ,my wife turned up and checked in was told no food was available and would have to order but eat in the room bar and restaurant closed another wedding in progress Location etc was nice but felt very impersonal, picked this location with friends so evening guests to go with our friends wedding would be able to relax in the bar have a drink and dinner before coming to meet us

Summary: The staff in general and the management in particular were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food was good quality. Our room was small for the amount we paid. Overall, Ihighly recommended!

Summary: We waited quite a while to check in, staff were busy, understaffed, they lady was very helpful and friendly and apologised. Room was nicely decorated and we had a fan in the room in this hot weather which was nice, coffee machine and Sloe gin were great. Large extractor fan outside room which was very noisy, on until 11pm and then again on at 5.30am so a very interrupted night, hardly any sleep!! Bathroom plumbing noisy. Could do with a full length mirror in room too. In the morning breakfast was good, good choice although missed the pancakes they used to do. However Jess who served us in the morning was very unfriendly and unhelpful, she slammed things on the table to us and other people around and did not talk, when we checked out it was Jess again, she only spoke to say how much we owed and didn't ask us how our stay was or anything else and didn't thank us or say bye, our opinion she shouldn't be in the hospitality business. We stayed here 15 years ago in the family room and had a lovely stay, this time however was not good so don't think we will be back unfortunately!
