Positive: A very tastefully furnished apartment, fully equipped with everything you need. (Homemade) bread, milk, and coffee were left for us to welcome us. Thank you! The location is great, right on the coastal road (with a wonderful panorama all the way to Portree), but without any disturbance from the rare passing cars. We enjoyed the absolute peace and quiet - which was only pleasantly "disturbed" by the occasional noise from the neighboring sheeps. In good weather, you can also see beautiful sunsets by the sea from the apartment (which happened about four times in one week). Although nothing was lacking, the apartment was comparatively very affordable! The online communication was uncomplicated. A great place to relax in peace - although you have to be aware that the nearest villages are about a 20-minute drive (Uig) or a 30-minute drive (Staffin).

Negative: This has nothing to do with the apartment - but the roads in the north of Skye are very dangerous for car tires due to incredibly deep potholes and unpaved roadsides!

Negative: The only thing was the blind in the back room as it didn’t keep much of the light out but apart from that it was absolutely perfect!

Positive: We loved the location. Waking up there was like living in a dream, the view from the kitchen was so beautiful we wanted to cry. The hosts are so kind it's unbelievable, they left milk and a loaf of home made bread for us to find on arrival (and daffodils in the living room) ! The apartment is much bigger than we thought, and it had everything we needed. The parking space is huge so that was a big plus. The heating is phenomenal; we didn't expect it to be that good so we were boiling the first night!

Negative: The only thing that was missing was a big kitchen pot.. We wanted to make soup and we had to split it into 2 smaller pots. But this is nothing really :)

Positive: This was a fully equipped bungalow, finished to a very good standard and far exceeding our expectations. Absolutely perfect base for the northern part of Skye (the roads could be considered fairly slow so expect a fairly long time in the car to get to the southern attractions). That said we loved the location for its remoteness and tranquility and there was far too much to fit in to the week we had. Awesome evening views across to Harris and the sunset.
