3 Bedroom House in Crimdon, Blackhall

Crimdon Dene Holiday Park is due to reopen on July 6th with the bar, restaurant and shop opening also! Due to Covid-19 we have escalated our cleaning methods to ensure that the caravan is disinfected from top to bottom between customers. Bed linen is provided, although if you chose to bring your own for added cleanliness then that is fine. We offer a self-check in service so no contact is necessary.
The Living Room is warm and cosy, perfect for your nights here at Crimdon Dene. With gas central heating and double patio doors, the living room is perfect for the summer and the winter. The sofa in the living rooms pulls out to sleep 2 people on a king sized bed.
From the living room there is a separate spacious kitchen, perfect for cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for the whole family. There is a gas hob and electric oven, microwave and separate fridge and freezer. All the utensils and equipment are provided for you to create that perfect holiday meal.
The master bedroom holds a double bed and storage cupboards, whilst the second and third bedrooms hold 2 singles in each, providing sleeping for 8 people in total. All bedrooms have wardrobe and storage space.
There is a separate shower room and separate WC.
Outside seating allows you to enjoy the warm summer evenings and the beach is only a stone's throw away, perfect for early morning strolls or even a paddle in the sea.

Summary: We had a great stay by the sea! The caravan is cosy, spacious and very well equipped. We absolutely love the personal touches reminding it's a home by the sea. The owners are lovely and helpful. There is a beach almost on your doorstep. It's our happy place. We've visited twice so far and can't wait to go back.

Summary: A lovely property, very cosy with everything you need. The kids loved talking to Alexa! The owners were very friendly and helpful and replied very quickly to any question. They also prepared an information book about the local area. The pizzeria leaflet was fab and they delivered to the site. A lovely view of the sea from the sitting room as well. The site facilities are actually quite small and you have to book a time for the pool. The staff are very friendly though. It was about an hour drive to Whitby where we spent a lovely day. Summary: Great caravan on a large, but very friendly site with lots of amenities, and so close to the sea and beautiful beaches, could not fault the site/ position of the caravan, with stunning seaviews. Owners very helpful and quick to respond to any questions etc. Hope to go back again soon!

Summary: Our caravan was excellent, the owners were also very helpful, I do have to mention that the site facilities left a lot to be desired, which is what affected our overall rating, we overlooked the sea and beach (which was fantastic) access to the beach was meant to be via some steps, however this was locked by order of the council as being dangerous, which meant if you want to use the beach then we either had to either walk over a mile, or drive off the site to reach it, we as grandparents went with 2 children who didn't appreciate the long trek with the usual stuff you take for aday on the beach, the two children wanted to use the camps pool, alas access to this and the amusement arcade and restaurant requires a pass (none of us wanted to use the bar or entertainment) so were then had to pay £57 to get the passes, we paid, expecting that the kids might use the pool and then turned up, only to find you then had to book a session so we again left and returned later, then after 45 mins the session was over and they had to get out!!!.... and if they wanted to go in again they would have to rebook another session, at a later time, oh and to get into the place, my grandaughters bag, (she is 14) was searched as if she was some sort of terrorist (by a male) under the pretext that she might be smuggling in food or drink, as it was, they used the pool and amusements exactly once, so the £57 was a total waste of money, On most camps we have used there are security on the entrance to evening entertainment which I fully accept need to be funded, but not for using a pool or to play on the machines, charging almost £60 extra for kids get into these areas seems to be a bit much when we pay a premium to go on holiday with children during the school breaks, In the end we spent most of the week off site, returning to eat and sleep, I can 100% recommend the caravan I stayed in, it had everything one needs for a break (even buckets and spades were provided free) the camp itself let us down, not the caravan or it's owner they were fantastic.

Summary: Clean and homely caravan with sea view short distance from Hartlepool. Onsite facilities but we decided to eat at local pub, several to choose from. Easy walking of dog around caravan park and on beach.

Summary: We had a lovely week away on the north east coast for Feb half-term. Very cosy caravan and loved waking up to the beautiful sight of the sea and lots of sunshine almost every day. Lots of places to see and visit - Crimdon Beach, Blackwall Rocks, Seaham, Hartlepool Marina, Roker & Seaburn, Sunderland, Saltburn and lots more! Would highly recommended a tasty curry at Poppadoms in Hartlepool Marina and also lunch at Crow's Nest in Seaham. Really enjoyed ourselves and will be visiting again soon!
