Positive: Do not have to greet hosts upon arrival & easy to access lockbox, no hassle, no small talk, and no feeling like youre being analysed. Can settle in, in peace after a long journey. Apartment has everything you need blow dryer, ironing board, iron, stove, microwave cleaning products, washing machine, toaster, kettle, double wardrobe , with Netflix and other streaming services (though I couldn't log into my prime account which was annoying it kept asking to join no sign in option but youtube also available), over head and removable shower head (for women to was intimate areas comfortably). Exactly as it looks in pictures and the shower is Huge which i loved. Hosts next door BUT do not disturb you and are attentive, helpful, very kind people, so please be good to them and respectful. They even provide some basic seasonings and dried herbs for cooking like thyme. Oregano, basil. Salt, pepper, garlic powder (bring your own spices). Knives pots and pans available that were knew and in good condition (knives slightly blunt). There's a fan and a heater which came in really handy for the temperature changes. Everything is modern and minimalist and there is plenty of space for 2 people on a short break (apart from bed -dated). A little walk to the shops but I just ordered in to avoid it. It is a residential family street so be prepared to hear children playing throughout the day but there's a park around the corner 3mins walk if you want outdoor space /fresh air as there id no garden access. Would have loved a oven for baking /roasting, maybe consider getting a portable one although I can understand the difficulty with finding space because the apartment is well fitted as it is. Plenty of sockets and extension lead. If you have heavy or a lot of luggage i recommend taking a cab from the station or getting a bus to the closest bus stop. All in all I highly recommend this property for a couple of nights or even up to a week.

Negative: Bare in mind all these things are manageable and should not deter you from booking, unless they're your non-negotiables, and are more improvement suggestions to take the property to 90% (the closest it can get to 100 without A View or private outdoor space) -The bed NEEDS to be changed. The mattress is waaaay too thin you can feel the bed frame as if youre camping or sleeping on a world war 1 infirmary bed. More so on the right and in the middle, I stayed on the left which was less bumpy and worn out gymnastics mat' like. I noticed it as soon as I walked in just by sight. -Attention to detail with cleaning like hoovering or moping so there's no dust under beds and in corners of the rooms or leftover hairs from past guests(NOT a lot or crazy but for people who are OCD and anal about germs and dust it can be a problem if we find even the smallest pieces which was my case because its easy to assume a lackluater attempt was made to prepare the room) and dishes are thoroughly cleaned or removed (I had to sterilize) -Could consider covering the front door window for privacy because you can see into the room and directly at the bed from outside. Luckily I was able to manufacture some type of cover that stuck. -Maybe also Sheer curtain to allow guests to open the blinds to let the natural light in while still maintaining privacy because the windows look out to the family garden that is occupied by the hosts family...I had to keep the blinds down my whole visit (because I like to walk around in comfortable clothing) which was a bit depressing. And the big lovely windows would've been great to expose all the light that comes in. And for some people, the feeling of being seen in your intimate relaxation space "home" may feel invasive. -You may hear children or people walking above during the day, so couples be weary of couples audible activities. Walls are thin. -Could consider a mop or towel for the bathroom floor and kitchen area.
