Summary: A quaint cozy lodge! The kitchen had everything I needed to whip up a few meals. Everything was clean and cozy. Definitely go to the whammy bar for dinner if you stay here! Best meals of our whole trip were from the guest chefs.

Summary: Home in Calais short walk down a path to Curtis Pond, well furnished, modern kitchen, new bathroom, clean, comfortable beds. Even a washer and dryer for your longer stays. Close to Montpelier, and many other interesting towns to visit within an hours drive. 10 minute walk to Maple Corner store that has everything you need for your stay.

Summary: The house is so cute and has a cozy feel. The kitchen and bathroom are beautifully updated. The downsides were the bathroom sink did not drain properly and black mold floated out of the drain, and the bathroom towels were extremely musty smelling. In addition, sadly, the outdoor seating was unusable as it appeared an animal had urinated on two of the cushions, and the others were wet from morning condensation. It would be helpful if they were stored in the house when not in use. None of these things, honestly, were devastating, so overall it was a very lovely stay.

Summary: This home is beautifully remodeled and decorated, and fully stocked with everything we could need. It is a large space so there was plenty of room for socializing or finding one's own personal space. We were only there for 4 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. One of the highlights for us was taking the host's paddle boards out on Curtis pond and seeing an adult loon teach their juveniles to fish. So many things to do nearby and great restaurants and cute shops in Montpelier. The only downside was that the house is close to the dirt road and that occasional cars drive too fast on it, but overall a beautiful setting. I would stay there again.

Summary: We had a really nice time. The property was largely what I expected. Very comfortable and clean. There were a few minor issues, but overall, I'd recommend this property. The location is truly the best thing about it.

Summary: Absolutely gorgeous farmhouse in Maple Corner on Curtis Pond. Modern kitchen and bath with all the classic New England charm of a rural VT farmhouse. Easy drive (15-25 mins depending on road conditions) to town, but the Maple Corner down the road will have most everything you need or forgot! House was fully stocked with kitchen and bath necessities, games/books/toys, outdoor gear, wood+splitter, etc. Property was perfect for winter exploring and sledding. Mark was highly responsive - we even chose to extend our stay! Highly recommend for anyone who loves all of the beauty and sense of community that only rural VT can offer!
