** Due to damages from Hurricane Ian - the long walkway out to the beach was destroyed. There are steps out to the beach for now - we will extend at a later date. New seal wall has been put in place ** A beach escape like no other! Moree’s Beach Home is a 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom, 3 level ocean-front home located on Waccamaw Drive in Garden City, SC. A home in every aspect of the word, Moree’s boasts many wonderful features that set it apart from the average rentals and condos in the area.
Inlet views from the front porch and ocean views from the back porch!
Our private inlet boat/fishing dock across the street is also included and has extra parking for 1-2 vehicles.
From the ground level there is space to park up to 3 to 4 vehicles. Also, the ground level has 2 front stairways for easy access to the 2nd level, considered the main floor.
The main floor features a large family and entertainment room with a direct view of the Atlantic Ocean
Moreover, the main room includes a dining area with full kitchen and access to 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Just to note, only 2 of the bedrooms have direct access to the back deck.
The second floor (3rd level) features 3 bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom. One of the rooms includes a classic chess/checkers game table with chairs, library, and access to a private deck with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Just to note, this deck has a stairway leading down to the back deck for access to the private walkway.
Each bedroom is uniquely and beautifully decorated in a timeless southern style that makes you feel right at home. It makes a perfect setting for a family retreat or a get-away with close friends. Designed for relaxation, this home is truly a beach escape that you will never forget!
Please note:
1) From Memorial Day to mid-August only weekly rentals are available and those would be from Sunday to Sunday.
2) Higher rates may apply during holidays.
3) NO PETS ALLOWED AT ALL and NO SMOKING!!
4) We do provide bed sheets, but we do not provide bath towels or wash cloths.
5) We do not supply extra paper products.

Summary: Our family enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The kitchen was a good size and very well equipped. Loved the large kitchen table where we could all sit together. We really liked the overall classic “beach house” feel.The bedrooms upstairs are a very nice size with each having huge closets and their own bathroom.The downstairs main bedroom is also a good size, though the closet and bathroom are much smaller than the upstairs bedoom spaces.The other two bedrooms downstairs are small, but fine, and they share a bathroom. The mattresses are older and could use updating.The new living room furniture is nice and very comfortable.We enjoyed the dock and had fun paddle boarding.Being right on the beach was wonderful. Gorgeous!! We hope that they put some steps next to the wall to make it easier for the older folks in the group to get to and from the beach.All of us enjoyed the porches. Putting a few more chairs on the upper level would be appreciated.We already booked for next year and can’t wait to go back!

Summary: This was our second Summer renting this house. My children and grandchildren love it. Check in was super easy , well equipped kitchen and we absolutely love the back and front porches. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Only had 2 issues. Ice maker didn’t work. Had to buy ice every day. Leak in one of the bedrooms. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Already booked again for next year.

Summary: Everything was great and we had a great time. The only problem was that it was hard to get down to the beach (we had 2 70 seniors with us which made it hard to get back and forth to the beach). Also the oven was dirty and the ice maker didn’t work. But overall it was a great place to stay.

Summary: Overall was very good to excellent. Very clean, 50 feet from water, great decks ocean side & inlet side. Especially liked the inluded fishing, boating pier across street where we did some fishing. Location was very quiet. Inside a little dated but comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Upstairs, bedrooms spacious, but carpet in need of replacement. Upstairs deck needs some chairs. Overall, nicely furnished and decorated oceanfront home with great views and perfect for our family group.
