1 Bedroom Cabin in Sisters

You'll feellike you're a world away, while being within walking or biking distance to downtown Sisters. Just minutes toshops and restaurants, cozy Meadow View Cabin offers peace and quiet on 10 acres with sage, junipers and towering pines. The Cabin overlooks 60 acres of natural meadow bordered by seasonal Indian Ford Creek. Wildlife abounds . . . watch deer, coyotes, bunnies, hawks, eagles, vultures, occasional wild turkeys and multiple other bird species from the spacious front deck. A short walk to the ‘brace post’ at the northeast corner of the property offers a sitting deck with four chairs and views of the Cascade Mountains from Three Fingered Jack to the South Sister.
Your hosts, the Owners, live on the property in an adjoining building which is connected by a covered walkway.
The Cabin has an open floor plan with a loft, living room with a beautiful wood stove, fully equipped kitchen/dining area including a compact refrigerator, and bathroom with shower and laundry facilities.
Beautiful wood floors, beams, ceilings and trim. There are two separate sleeping areas in the loft, one with a queen bed and one with a twin XL. A double futon is located in the main floor living area. Other amenities include a gas Weber barbeque, outdoor seating and dining tables, free fire wood and an outdoor shower. Bicycle rentals are available in nearby Sisters.
Children 5 and older welcome. Because of the wood stairs to the loft sleeping areas, the Cabin is not good for young children under 5, elderly, or people with mobility challenges. Sorry no pets allowed at the Cabin, the owners have kitties on the property.The Cabin and the surrounding property are smoke free.

Summary: We went away for 2 nights for a respite from 24/7 care. It was perfect! It was such a peaceful place and there are so many nature places to visit within a short drive. The owners checked in with us via text several times to make sure we didn't need something.

Summary: Beautiful setting. Immaculately clean. Gorgeous vista with a resident outdoor mighty white Persian kitty lurking the property with great majesty. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Nicely appointed place. I did have to purchase my own cinneman but that is minor compared to all else!

Summary: Perfect weekend trip to this cabin! We came into town for a house showing but wanted to enjoy the natural surroundings rather than staying at a hotel. Our stay was peaceful and enjoyable. Would absolutely stay again.

Summary: Lovely place on a lovely piece of property. My partner and I stayed here with one of our couple friends (four of us total). The description says it sleeps 4, with a queen bed in the loft, a twin XL in the loft, and a double fouton. I don't expect a person could sleep on the fouton, as the pad was about 4ft x 4ft. So really only the queen bed and the twin XL, so I would say it sleeps 3 comfortably. Luckily my partner and I brought a queen air mattress we used on the floor instead. With that being said, it was clean, well stocked, plenty of towels and firewood, and the property owners were nothing but friendly in the couple interactions we had with them. We walked into downtown Sisters via the quiet neighborhood roads, and the walk took about 20 minutes. Not bad at all. I would stay here again if it were just my partner and I.
